In a Mug

Ok. I come to with great news! You ever want just one brownie or a cookie, but you have to make an ENTIRE recipe? You don't have time to make dozens?
Bam.
Taste this.
Mug brownie and mug cookie.

They each only take about 5 minutes, and I say from experience, they are good. Nom.

Cookie

• 1 tbsp. butter, melted 
• 1 tbsp. white sugar 
• 1 tbsp. brown sugar 
• 3 drops of vanilla 
• pinch of salt 
• 1 egg yolk 
• 1/4 c. flour 
• 2 tbsp. chocolate chips

In a bowl, mix together the butter, sugars, vanilla, and egg yolk. Add in the flour and salt. Mix until combined. Add in the chocolate chips. Put the dough into a small microwaveable bowl, ramekin, or coffee cup. Microwave for 40-60 seconds or until the cookie looks done. Best served warm… Enjoy!


Brownie 

• 1 tbsp. butter, melted 
• 1 tbsp. white sugar 
• 1 tbsp. brown sugar 
• 3 drops of vanilla 
• pinch of salt 
• 1 egg yolk 
• 1/4 c. flour 
• 2 tbsp. chocolate chips

Add the sugar, flour, cocoa, and salt to the mug and mix. Then add the oil and water and mix the dry and wet ingredients together. Be sure to be thorough, there's a tendency for clumps of the dry ingredients to form. Microwave on high for roughly a minute. You may have to microwave it longer or shorter, depending on your microwave, but the brownie should still be wet in the center when done. It's done! Let it cool, grab a spoon, and dig in straight from the mug.

Add ice cream, make two, add extra chocolate chips...whatever! Enjoy nomming your cookie and brownie!

A little bit of some awesome Chinese stuff

Many of you have heard that the Chinese civilization is the oldest lasting civilization. This would mean that they have thousands of years of history. This would mean that Chinese people (or the people before the Tower of Babel) would have history of different Biblical events, such as the flood.

This is the Chinese character for boat. There may not be anything that stands out about this character. But once you dig deeper, you learn that the character is made up of different characters. Those characters are: 
 
So, we have a vessel with eight mouths, or eight people. Genesis 7:13 says, "In the selfsame day entered Noah, and Shem, and Ham, and Japheth, the sons of Noah, and Noah's wife, and the three wives of his sons with them, into the ark." Noah's ark was a vessel or ship with eight people on it.

Here is another one:  

Again. This character is made up of different, smaller characters.

We have a secretive or tricky man in a garden. Or perhaps a tricky fallen angel disguised as a serpent?
Let's add on.

At the bottom, you see the character for devil. On top of it are some other characters.

Above "devil" there are two trees. There were also two important trees in the Garden of Eden, the Tree of Life and the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. Then the entire thing is under "cover", or hidden, in the dark. It was secret and deceptive.

This is the character for "forbidden".

There are two trees and a command...God gave a command about two trees, one with forbidden fruit.

The Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world...

Pretty self explanatory... ^_^

And...my favorite.

    dust        + (breath of) life  + (from God's) mouth + motion       =             Creation

God formed man from dust, breathed from his mouth into the man the breath of life, and man became a living being. Pretty amazing if you ask me!

I just thought this little piece of God was pretty cool!! Hope you enjoy. :)

John 3:16

I have been thinking about something the past few weeks, days, hours... I talk with God and read my Bible, but really have never put my thoughts into words. So, today I DID IT.

GOD,
holy and GREAT, did not come for the "good".
It says in the Bible:


    For
       GOD so LOVED the world...
    Let's stop right there^^^ 


The
world.   

                 Not the earth, the land, the  
                     oceans, the trees...




But the people.


               God loved the people. 


The Jews weren't the only people.
The Christians weren't the only people.
Even those you might classify as 
                                      "good"
                                         ....
                         Weren't the only people.


For God so loved everyone, alive and dead, all sinners, all who have done wrong, all who are imperfect and condemned to HELL.


  Now that is all the people...

He GAVE, not loaned, not sold...
He GAVE His ONLY SON.
There was no other son for Him to keep.


For 
   GOD
      so 
        LOVED
             everyone...


That
    He
      freely
            GAVE
                His
                   ONLY
                       Son.


That
    WHOEVER--- Not just those who have never been to prison. Not  
               just those who didn't have sex before marriage. 
               Not just those who go to church every Sunday....


                                                BUT


                            WHOEVER


God not only LOVES all people, He gave His only Son to ALL people.


Then it says: Believes in Him.


Not works for. Not earns. Not wins. But BELIEVES in JESUS...shall have eternal life.


God is saying right here -> John 3:16
Three main things.


He LOVES all sinners.
He GIVES them Jesus.
AND
He FORGIVES them if they believe.


A God who loves, and gives, and forgives everyone doesn't sound like the God I see in most people, including myself.


          I see anger, hatred, resentment, racism, 
          grudges, judgement, the list goes on.


All of that sin.
All of that making "Christians" just as unworthy of holiness as a      
                murderer or thief.






     But I'll tell you something to be shared:

                                      For God so loved YOU, 
                                                          that He gave you Jesus, 
                                                          that if you believe in 
                                                         Jesus, you will be saved 
                                                         and have eternal life.


God loves, gives, and forgives YOU.
                               ME.
                               EVERYONE.
So why don't we?
